Sugar Cookies and Pumpkins

We really are the lucky ones to live so close to Grandma and Grandpa Remund. I can't imagine our lives any other way. It's nice to be able to call and have them come right over any time! We tried to make it work with Powell's schedule to carve pumpkins but it didn't happen. We invited Grandma and Grandpa over for Sunday dinner and decided we would carve pumpkins and make sugar cookies. I made the cookie dough but I knew mom was the expert at rolling them out. My frosting was too sweet but they still tasted good. Thanks mom and dad!

Princess Pumpkin.....super easy!

That night was certainly fun for us. Love being with the kids. We love being able to be close enough to join in the festivities.

That is the cutest idea for a pumpkin! I have never seen it before with the Mr Potato Heads in it. Looks like fun. You are lucky to be close to mom and dad. Your kids will be happy one day that they got to live by them.
