Brin keeps me organized

One thing I love about Brinley is that she is very organized. She takes care of a lot of stuffed animals, littlest pet shops, our animals etc. She also does a really good job when I ask her to clean something. She makes her bed and sometimes she will make mine as a surprise. Well this morning she said, "Mom, I really wanted to make your bed but since you already did it I will DECORATE your bed with everything you need." I had to laugh because these are the 3 things she sees me use in my bed....My new Book of Mormon, my cell phone and the remote. THANKS BRINLEY for keeping me organized.

I Love...

This little girl is soooooo loving. She tells me every day, "I love you mom!" It melts my heart. Lately she has been telling me things that she loves about herself.
One night Mckenna had a hard time going to sleep. Finally at 11 pm, I decided since Powell was gone I would go get her out of her crib and put her in bed with me. I closed my eyes hoping she would go to sleep so I could finish watching my show. I felt her face close to mine and I opened my eyes to her looking at me. She had her hands on her chin and she said, "Mom, I love my chin". Awwwww.....I love her chin too.
Mckenna flips her hair with her hands now that its getting a little longer. She LOVES her hair. Today while I was washing her hair she looked at me from the bath water and said, "Mom, I just love my hair!".  I love that hair too!
Mckenna told me yesterday while sitting on her potty, "Mom, I love my knee". I had to laugh because who loves their knees??? Well, Mckenna does. I asked her about the freckle you can see just above her knee. She said it was a chicken. I said, "A Chicken?" I think it is a freckle. She said, "No it's a chicken or its a booger" I love that girl! She has so much she is grateful for.

Cousin Night

We finally had a cousin night at Brick Oven. It was great seeing everyone again. We need to do it more often. Katy brought her little boy, Jacob. He is soooooo cute. I wish I would have taken a picture of him to put on here. Next time we need to do a sleepover so we have more time to chat!

Spring Break Fun!

We stayed home for Spring Break this year and it was so relaxing. We slept in every day! Savannah has to get up at 6:30 am every day so I was glad for the extra sleep. We watched a lot of movies in our basement on our new projector. Grandpa even came over and watched a few. One thing we really wanted to do was order our trees and shrubs. We drove up to J and J Nursery in Layton and decided it would also be a perfect day to see Rachel and her kiddos. We met at Chick-ful-a so we could eat and so the kids could play at the play land. Then we went over to a park and let the kids play for a while. I could watch Hansen and Brinley hangout all day. They are the best of friends. Mckenna is starting to tag a long with them now. Rachel had to go to work so we left the park and went to the nursery. We spent a couple of ours looking at trees and shrubs and have a big order that will be coming soon! Last we grabbed pizzas and headed to Suncrest to see Powells mom and dad. We had a wonderful visit with them. Tom ended up going into the hospital the following day with kidney stones so we went back down that day and the day after. He is doing better now.
Can't get enough of Kolton. He is a doll!!!!!
He worked so hard on getting those puffs in his mouth, and stuck to his neck and fingers.
Rachel told us some amazing stories at lunch....lol.

Cute brothers

Look at the tag a long!

Even the "big kids" had some fun

Easter Fun 2013

It was SOOOOO nice to have Powell home the day before Easter and on Easter. It is the first time I can remember. He took vacation because he hadn't had a Sunday off in a long while. We colored eggs the night before Easter. Mckenna loved the eggs almost as much as carving pumpkins. She said, "Oh my gosh," too many times to count. On Easter, the kids looked at their baskets and then we went to church from 9 until 12. Grandpa came over for dinner around 5. Grandma was in Bakersfield with Brett and Nat. While we were waiting for Grandpa to come we did tricks on the tramp. The only thing we didn't do this year, is we didn't do an Easter hunt.....it's fine with me. I get so tired of ALL the candy.

Hurray for dad being home!

We put our eggs in my cupcake holder this year and it was a fun way to display them.

They both got these bug catchers.
My tricks were by far the best

Even Mckenna has tricks
Nothing like Easter Candy!

Our dessert was Grandma Carries famous crepes.
