Livin' on a Prayer!

It's not a surprise to anyone who knows Hunter very well that he is a big fan of Bon Jovi. Like....I mean....a BIG FAN. He asked me if he could sing in the talent show for the Wasatch County Fair and I wasn't going to let him because it was less than a week away and we didn't have anything ready. He said, "Mom, c'mon, I know every word to Livin' on a Prayer.....please let me do it." Hunter practiced and got some moves down and was really more excited than nervous. I was so proud of him and he told me he LOVED being on stage. He took 3rd place and won 50 dollars. He is happy to have the money because he is saving up for an electric guitar.

Fathers and Sons

Hunter was SO excited when they announced the Fathers and Sons at church and Powell had it off! They went out by Strawberry reservoir for a camp out. Hunter's favorite part was shooting lots of different kinds of guns and spending some "Guy Time" with his dad. The girls stayed home and woke up early to go to a few garage sales and then off to breakfast at the Hub.

Our little tenderheart!

Mckenna has such a tender heart. She doesn't like us to talk mean or to bump her by accident. If she gets sad she has a SAD CRY that just breaks your heart. But the cutest thing of all are the tears that sit on her chubby cheeks (sometimes for 10 minutes or more) after she cries. What a sweetheart!

Don't you love those tears?.....they just sit there on her face.

Photogenic

I think my beautiful Brinley is very photogenic. At the very LEAST she doesn't have a problem closing her eyes in pictures like Hunter and I do! These were taken in July at a park in Orem and the park on Main Street in Heber.

Van Wagoner Family Reunion

My kids LOVE the Van Wagoner Family Reunion. This year was no exception. They had a great time reuniting with all of their cousins. We had our annual talent show but for some reason we didn't take any pictures of our favorite act......Peggy and Martha. Oh well, we will take some next year.

Digging in the sawdust for money and candy!
Brinley wouldn't keep looking once she found her sucker. She just wanted to stop and eat it right then.
I don't know if anyone got it or not but we were trying to be "Napoleon Dynamite's".....do you see the "Vote for Pedro" shirts and the tater tots?
Hunter is always good for a talent number.
Little Mckenna's first reunion. She is enjoying her glowstick.
I would have to stay that the Scott Kohler family had the most entertaining talent number.

Isn't Midway beautiful?

Savannah's 11th Birthday!

I can't believe my oldest is already 11. She is so beautiful, talented and smart. She looks more like a teenager now and is getting really tall. We celebrated her birthday early at Seven Peaks with her friends Savannah Labrum and Abbie Egnew. Then we did a family party at the bowling alley on her actual birthday. She wanted gift cards for shopping (did I say teenager) and gift cards to i-tunes.
Coleman was here from Colorado
Grandpa is good to help with the babies!
.....and so is Denise!

Kelsi was here with her new baby Charli.....getting ready to move to Iowa
Tammy was visiting from Florida!

A rare picture of Peggy and Edd.....you really have to sneak to get one!
Savannah was so glad Carly was visiting so she could have a cousin close to her age to hang out with!
