BON JOVI
Last night was the Bon Jovi concert that Hunter has been looking forward too since he got his tickets for Christmas. He LOVED the concert and knew all of the songs. There was a lot of punching the air, "rock on" signs, dancing and singing coming from little Hunter man. He wore his Bon Jovi shirt and then bought a new Bon Jovi shirt for the 2011 tour. Savannah and I got really cheap ($5) tickets behind the stage last minute and we were both surprised at how much we loved the show. More than anything, I wanted to see Hunters face during the concert so Powell took some video of him with the camera. Here is one of many clips we have of him!

Science Experiment!
I'm so behind on EVERYTHING in my life....why would my blog be any different? Savannah was required to do a science experiment for her class and I turned this one over to Powell since science is more his thing. Savannah did a fabulous job going through the whole scientific process and was 1 of 7 chosen from her class to go to BYU for the science fair there. Her hypothesis was: "Someone's perception of taste can be effected by the way something looks". She had people come to our house for the experiment which was a jello tasting. People were asked to taste jello while blindfolded and say what flavor it was. Then they were asked to taste the jello (3 kinds) again while looking at the jello and say what flavor it was a second time. The jello was dyed a different color than the flavor (peach was dyed blue). Her conclusion was 1. When people don't know what they are going to be tasting they have a hard time distinguishing flavors (a lot of people missed the flavors of jello when they were blindfolded). 2. People tend to choose a flavor that corresponds to the color (blue jello they assumed was blue raspberry, blueberry, etc. when in was really peach). Way to go Savannah! She is sooooo excited to go to BYU.
