Thanksgiving in Circleville

It was so nice to have Thanksgiving at Brett and Natalie's house in Circleville. They worked so hard to make it nice for everyone. We had comfortable beds to sleep, the food was delicious and we had lots of fun.
Evidently I bought a new "fruity" toothpaste and the kids were brushing their teeth 3-4 times every night.
Some pool action
Look how big Emmi is smiling!
Brett did Turkey and tri-tip. Hunter made a big announcement to everyone to say, "This is by far the best Turkey I've ever tasted"....It was really Tri-tip. Ha Ha
Ya we are those people......the ones who brought their dog.
I brought some easy crafts for the kids
I also brought a thanksgiving bingo
Jett liked Circleville
These two are good buddies

Dairy Tour in Circleville

While we were at Brett and Nats for Thanksgiving we went to see the farm where Brett works. It was fascinating to see how dairy runs compared to the way we did it growing up. . It was fun to see where Brett works and to see him in his element. Brinley is the one who loves the Dairy the most!

Brett stopped to do a little lab work.

I think they might need to upgrade the lounge area sometime soon! LOL

Jett

I never ever ever thought I'd have any kind of indoor pet in my home. But when Savannah was 5 and her and Powell had ganged up on me long enough, I broke down and we got our cat Smokey. He is a short hair Burmese and has been a great pet overall. The biggest problem with Smokey is that we have family and friends who are allergic to him. I want my family to be able to come and visit and stay over without having horrible allergies. Anyway, Smokey has cancer so we started our hunt for a new pet. Pets really help Savannah and Brinley with anxiety. They are soothing to them. Brinley has also been sleeping with Smokey for a few years now. Well, I never would have guessed that a Standard Poodle was in our cards....but MEET JETT! After lots of research on allergies and dogs, we decided a poodle would be the best bet. They have hair that needs groomed but don't have the shedding problem of so many animals. Hopefully (I'm crossing my fingers) no one will be allergic to him. I won't say it has been without a few hiccups training a new puppy but he's turned out to be a good pet already. The kids LOVE HIM. He has a cute personality and is super smart.

Weekend in Hurricane and David Archuleta

Mom got us tickets to David Archuleta clear back in the Spring and I've been so excited to go. I went down on Thursday to help mom with a few projects around the house and then Rachel came down on Friday to stay. Nat, Madi and Saige came over from Circleville and we all had dinner at moms. The concert was held at the Tuacahn. David was so good. He is real and humble and has the BEST VOICE. On Saturday we went shopping and I think we about killed mom off because we went for so long. Rachel and I found so great sales and she was able to find her a dress. I bought a few things on clearance at Dillards. It was nice to have a break from the kids.
Peggy, Edd and Ali came to the concert with us.
Shopping Fun! This was moms idea by the way.
