Easter 2014

We were getting ready to leave for Costa Rica when it was Easter and Powell was working so I didn't feel like I put very much effort into it this year. It was fine.....just not my best effort. But, what I have learned is that sometimes we can simplify and the kids hardly know the difference AND the momma is a lot happier!

Parkinson's Benefit Concert

Andrew and Joeli Grose are some of our FAVORITE singers! They did a benefit concert to help raise money for the Parkinson's Support Group that is run by our very own MOTHA! MARTHA! Yep, our mom has Parkinsons and is fighting it with courage, faith and fortitude. Their support group meets once a month (the first monday at the Senior Center if you are interested). Andrew, Joeli and Mark Allen produced a CD of LDS music that is really great. I bought it at the concert and have been listening to it. I just love their voices!!! Back in the day, I used to accompany them so it was good to see them again. The concert was fabulous!
