Disney World

We were on the free disney dining plan and we ate and ate and ate some more. We got dessert with our lunch and dinner and Brinley got addicted to chocolate cake and chocolate brownies. Everytime someone came with chocolate cake she would say, "Brins Choclick Cake". Then she would sing happy birthday. What a funny girl!
Denise had a little chatterbox accompanying her on many rides and around the park.
My favorite ride at Hollywood Studios.....Tower of Terror.
Denise watched the kids so Powell and I could go out to a nice dinner. I'm having a famous grapefruit cake. Delicious!
Powell and Brin getting ready for a 3-D Mickey movie.
This is Hunter after he watched the Indiana Jones stunt show at Hollywood Studios. Afterwards we bought him a REAL Indiana Jones hat.
Savannah posing with a hippo in the background at The Wild Animal Park.
Brinley LOVED the characters at our character lunch with Winnie the Pooh and friends. She squeezed, kissed and hugged Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet.
Savannah and Hunter riding the teacups at Magic Kingdom.....it's a ride that makes us all sick!
Pirates of the Caribbean was one of the few rides we actually thought was better at Disneyland! It was still great!

We had such a fun trip. It was hotter than we ever imagined but at least we know now we never want to live in Florida! We were so glad Denise was able to come and help us manage our three monkeys!

New Adventure's

So we sold our house!!!! For the time being we are living in my Grandma Remund's old farm house while we are looking for something else to buy. There are a few inconveniences but there have been lots of adventures.....especially for Hunter. First is the tree house......this is the same tree house I played in as a kid so it's been really fun. Next would be the animals. We have had MANY raccoons and rock chucks. Powell has loved trapping the raccoons with peanut butter and bread and even caught three in one cage. Last, I'm enjoying the adventure of trying to cook in a very outdated kitchen, including "The Flair" oven.....you'd have to see it to understand! Cross your fingers, we have offers in on a few short sales.

And yes, we do kill them.....I know sad but they are taking over. Seriously I think they've killed about 30 this summer!

Kindermusik!

My all-time favorite thing I have done with each of my kids is Kindermusik class. Brinley just finished a 4 month class and she LOVED it. She is such a musical child......always humming and singing. The class was called "Our Time" because it was our special time once a week to be together (a perfect thing for child #3). I always made sure Hunter had a babysitter so he didn't distract us. The last day we had our regular class and then finished off with Mrs. Sheila and all the mom's and siblings at the park. Brinley was on cloud nine. She was laughing and smiling and singing the rest of the day!

Mother Daughter Date

It was my first Mother Daughter Date with Savannah and I loved it! We had a pajama, pizza, pop, and pedicure night. We wrote our memories to each other in a booklet and then we made pizza's. After we ate we learned about taking care of our nails and painted them. Savannah then gave me a gift....bath salts that the girls made themselves. It was a fun night!

The General Conference Puzzle

Jessica had this idea that she would start a new Conference tradition by starting a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, and work on it while she listened to the talks. Almost immediately, both Hunter and Savannah pulled their support for the puzzle, so Jess was forced to go it alone. Well, last night at around 2 am the final piece was put into place.

Certainly an interesting theme for Conference!

Wonder what puzzle she will pick for next year?

Brinley at 18 months

I can't believe how fast Brinley has grown up! She is 18 months and acting more and more like she is two.....not good! She is into EVERYTHING. She knows what she wants and is determined to get it. Needless to say, she speaks really well and we are enjoying her new words every day. We sure love her!

Nipple Chaffing?

For those of you that watch "The Office" you will remember the episode when Andy had nipple chaffing. Well, Hunter had a similar problem and took care of it himself the other day! What a guy!

St. George Vacation

We went to St. George with my whole family. It was soooo much
fun. The house we rented was incredible. Savannah and Hunter's
favorite part was the theater room. They played the wii and
watched lots of movies. Brinley just kept running around saying
wow! wow! wow! at everything. It was a great trip.

The Green Stools!

We went to kangaroo zoo for a birthday party yesterday and Brinley was in heaven. It wasn't the slides and it wasn't the bouncy houses that she loved. She was crazy about the GREEN STOOLS. If only we would have known.......we would have got her one for Christmas!

Lot's of Holiday Fun!

Here is an update with some of our holiday fun!
We had a Christmas Party with Powell's Mom and Dad and with his sister Ashleigh and her kids. After dinner we made these cute little snowmen on top of a cupcake. Here is J.R. with his and then Lexi is going after the scarf on her snowman. Yummy!
Brinley is hanging out with Grandma Carrie!

Here are the kids on Christmas Eve wearing their new pajama's

Savannah is posing in her new outfit from Santa and her new hat, gloves and scarf from Denise.
Hunter and Savannah both got a Nintendo DS from santa. Mom likes it just as much as they do. Guess I will be asking for one for Mother's Day!

My mom and dad, Savannah, Brinley and I went to Bakersfield, California to see Brett and Natalie and their twins a few days after Christmas. The first day we were there was so nice that we went to the park. Brinley loved running around. We couldn't ever go to the park in December in Heber!!!
Saige is so funny. Look at her sitting on her dad while he is watching the football game!
Madisen had her tonsils and adenoids out while we were there. She did so well. She was singing two days afterwards. We are all hoping it helps her breathe, eat and sleep a little better.
