Seattle Part 1

Savannah has ALWAYS wanted to go to Seattle. Our niece Tess and her husband Will (he works for Amazon)  moved there and so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to visit. We flew on Southwest for free and stayed with Tess so it was an inexpensive trip. We got the city pass which was great deal and I highly recommend. It included a pass to the Space Needle both day and night, the Seattle Aquarium, Harbor Cruise, Museum of Pop Culture and the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum for $74 a person. The thing that was most stressful for us was finding parking and the cost of parking. I think one day we paid $50 for parking!
Getting ready for the Harbor Cruise
Got to have Fish and Chips in Seattle!
We walked through Pike Market on our way to the Glass Museum. We knew we had to go back with Tess at some point because there were so many cool things to see.
The blown glass was amazing!
The Pop Culture Museum wasn't our favorite. We weren't interested in most of the exhibits but we walked through for about an hour.
There was a wearable art section

Happy Sweet Sixteen!

I can't believe this beautiful girl of mine is really 16. Where did the time go? I'm so proud of her and the person she is becoming. She has many amazing qualities. She is patient and kind. She sees the good in everyone and is non-judgemental. I love that her testimony is growing and she is doing well in school. I love you Sav!

Savannah's friends planned a surprise party at Aspens house. Here they are coming to get her....she has no idea what is even happening. I wish I had pictures from her party but it sounded like it was tons of fun. They played in the pool and had pizza.

Van Wagoner Reunion

We used to have a camp out reunion every year with the Van Wagoner side but now we are just having one that lasts for the day. This year we had it at the Midway Shelter. We had fun eating together, visiting, doing a craft and playing games. We also had a talent show. Brett and Nat came and picked up the girls since they had been staying with us.
The Kohlers always come up with the BEST TALENTS!

Madi and Saige Part 2

While Madi and Saige where visiting, Coleman was also visiting from Colorado. We invited him to come with us to Airborne and In and Out Burger.
