She's training for the army!

All we can figure out is that Brinley is destined for the army. She gets in her push-up position all day long. She can balance on two feet or one foot, and sometimes she even does it with a toy in hand. She is quite the gal at 7 months.

He did it!

Today was the first time that Hunter rode his bike without training wheels. He has been putting me off for a year......when I'm five mom I'll do it, I'm not five yet, not until I'm five mom, etc. Well, this spring Hunter turned five and I've been reminding him it was time. On his chore chart this week I added "Ride Bike" as one of his chores. I did it just for fun. He took it seriously and practiced for a minute yesterday with Powell. Today he wanted me to help him. As soon as I let go, he just took off and started giggling. It's so easy, mom! After he showed his dad, he wanted to call his Grandpa Remund to tell him the big news.

Wii Gone Wrong!

We had Claire staying with us for 7 days while her mom and dad went on a cruise. For the most part, things went really well. Claire loved playing the wii once her homework was done each evening. On the night that her parents would be returning, she wanted to play one last time. Savannah was working on their "welcome home" sign while Claire was playing. Claire was trying to get a home run on baseball and swung the wii-mote right into Savannah's face. Luckily her glasses weren't on because I think they probably would have broken!

It's pretty self-explanatory....Hunter informed us that tonight he has turned into an alien force!

Brinley in Action

Last night I caught Jessica and Brinley having a little fun together.

Sarah and Bella came to visit!

My cute niece came and visited today and brought her sweet daughter Bella. It was Brinley's first playdate! Brinley is 7 months old and Bella is 9 months old. It was fun to see them interact......until Brinley was to ornery and ready for her nap. Sarah and I had a nice visit and lunch. I hope they come to visit again soon!

Toe Sucker/Thumb Sucker

Brinley loves her thumb and her big toe so much. She sucks them both every day. It's nice to have a pacifier that is attached to her body. When she doesn't have her thumb, she manages to get her socks off and fits her big toe perfectly in her mouth. Funny girl!

Just for Sara, my Brinley!

O.K. Sara (who asked where the 3rd child was)..... I felt like a big geek that I posted a picture of our trip to Washington D.C. and didn't include Brinley. She was with us.......she goes where the boobs go, of course. It's just that she was sleeping in her stroller when we took the picture of us with the capitol in the background. We didn't take any other pictures with all of us. Anyway, this picture is for Sara to show her my "3rd child". And by the way, thanks Sara for the cute name idea!!!! Just kidding you stole it from me!

Isn't Brinley cute though? I hate to brag, but oh my gosh, I love this girl. She is sporting her new shoes in this picture and she thinks she is hot stuff.

Washington D.C. Vacation

We had a great trip to Washington D.C. for spring break. It was the first time traveling with all 3 kids......crazy! Overall everything went really smooth. We stayed with Michael and Jill in Virginia. We had fun visiting the Air and Space Museum, the Musuem of Natural History, the National Zoo and hanging out with our cousins.
