First day of school for the big kids!

Savannah has to get up at 6am this year to catch the bus at 7:05....ugg! We are not loving it. She is growing up and doing really well keeping organized with 7 different teachers. She will say she doesn't like school but she seems happy with her classes. She is in 3 honors classes that keep her busy.

Bath time with Hansen and the Girls!

Hansen, Brinley and Mckenna LOVE to take baths together. I know the day will soon come when they will be too old to do it so I let them whenever they ask. They have so much fun in my big tub with bubbles, jets, spray bottles, toys, etc. Sometimes my floor and my blinds are covered in water but it's worth it!

Uncle Michael

I thought this was such a cute picture of Michael and Hunter. Michael came with Tess to drive out a car for BYU and they stayed for a few days. Hunter loves his Uncle Michael and even has his name.....Hunter Michael Harrison. Here they were hanging out, talking and playing a car game on xbox.

Personality!

 This little munchkin is so full of personality. She was such a mellow little baby and is still good natured. I just didn't know what her personality would be like. She is starting to be funny....tries to make us all laugh. She also wants more than anything to be just like her older sister Brinley. She watches what Brinley wears and what she does with her hair and wants to copy her. I'm impressed by how much she can eat for being just a little thing. I will say she is by far our messiest eater we've ever had. I just dread meal time sometimes because of the mess I know she will make. But she can do it all by herself so I don't even try to help her. Her latest favorite thing is wearing purses, jewelry and other gadgets she collects around the house. We are enjoying Mckenna so much!

Ogden and Huntsville

We decided to take the family up to Odgen so they could see Dean and Rachel's new place. Rachel was feeling really pregnant and we thought it would be fun to go up the canyon to Huntsville to jump in the lake and have a picnic at the park. It was tons of fun. The area is beautiful and the park was amazing.

I was too lazy to walk all the way back to the bathrooms to change and so Rachel and Savannah made me a dressing room. Powell always has to be a poop and try to sneak pictures!

This end of the lake was super shallow so we could almost walk all the way across to the very nice sandy beach. Dean and I swam with the kids over to the other side.

Little M had fun but she decided to taste some sand/dirt and wasn't very excited about it!

So we met the most hilarious brothers who live near the park. They talked our ears off....telling us about the cheese they make at their house and the church they go to. They even invited us over!

Talent Show 2012

Even though Hunter had only taken guitar lessons for 6 weeks, he really wanted to sing and play his guitar in the talent show for the fair. I'm just amazed that any kid could stand up and do anything with such a huge crowd!!! He sang "Hallelujah" and did a great job. He didn't have his chord changes completely smooth which I think effected his score. He said he needed a better crowd pleaser! He is so cute and brave and we are proud of him even though he didn't win. All I can say, is watch out next year because this kid is getting good!

The Harrison Henke Reunion

We are bestest friends with the Henke family. All of our kids match up (except Mckenna) and all get a long great. We don't allow sleep overs except with cousins. The kids think they are "cousins" and always ask why they can't have sleep overs with the Henkes. We decided to bend our rule a little bit we would have an annual 2 day HARRISON HENKE REUNION! It was so much fun this year. The kids spent one night at my house and one night at the Henkes. We used Rachel and Deans projector and had outside movies both nights.The last night we went to the derby and got a babysitter for the little kids. I don't have any of the pictures from the time at Melissa's house but I know they spent lots of hours in her new pool.
