Primary "Scripture Power Camp"

I big part of my time is spent thinking, praying, planning and teaching these darling kids in the Wild Mare Primary. I've been blessed to be their primary president for almost two years and I love them so much. We did a "Scripture Power Camp" where the kids rotated through four stations. They watched a short video and acted out a David and Goliath. We played Book of Mormon Bingo, played an active game of getting Nephi's Family to the promised land by blowing with a straw and they colored a bookmark. I made rice krispie treats that looked like the Brass Plates and then we sent them on their way!

Weekend to St. George with the BFFs

So my BFF Melissa has a little sister, Sara who was turning 40.  I kind of invited myself to go with Melissa to St. George to celebrate Sara's birthday. Melissa took Hailey and I brought Brinley and those girls giggled for 3 days straight! We helped plan a surprise party for Sara and set up at a park and went to the Children's Museum and Judd's Candy Store. We stayed at Melissa's moms house so that was nice. We also took the girls swimming and bought them pizza. They stayed back at the house and we went out to dinner with the girls. We had a few hours of giggling ourselves!

Park City Park

We love to go to this park in Park City because it has so much to do. There are soccer fields, volleyball courts and basketball courts. There is a dog park area and lots of trails to run on.

Andy and Lynn

When I was on my mission in Kokomo Indiana, I taught a couple named Lynn and Frank. I also knew Lynn's mom from the ward, Sister Doud. Anyway, after I got transferred, Lynn and Frank were baptized. After I returned home from Indiana, Lynn and Frank and their baby Andy came and visited Utah. They were able to meet my family and visited the farm. We kept in touch for a while but then lost touch for a number of years. Then when I ventured back to Indiana in 2013, we were able to meet up and go to dinner. Well they decided to retire in Coco Beach, Florida and about a year after they were there, Frank suddenly got sick and died a few weeks later in the hospital. Lynn contacted me and wanted to come back out to visit and spread Frank's ashes in Montana. So for 10 days we had Lynn and Andy (minus the few days they were in Montana). It was really fun having them stay. We visited and hiked around Bridal Veil Falls. We also spent a day at Temple Square and the Church History Museum. We ate lots of good food and talked and talked and talked. I bought a puzzle and we worked on that as well. The girls loved coloring with Lynn and Hunter had a great time gaming with Andy.
