I did my usual tripadvisor planning....it seriously gets me through the long winters.....and I planned lots of stops along the way on the trip from Hurricane to Phoenix. We invited mom and dad to come part of the way down with us. They stayed with us to see Lee's Ferry at the Colorado River and for our picnic at the Navajo Bridges near Marble Canyon. The sights were amazing. Then they went back home and we headed on to Flagstaff where we explored the downtown a bit and went to the Sweet Shoppe and Nut house.

| This was a house made out of rock. Supposedly years ago someone broke down near this area and ended up loving the area and built themselves a place out of rock! There was a store nearby so we took a pit stop and got a drink and let the kids play on the rocks and in the rock house. |

That was a fun day for sure. So glad you invited us to accompany you part way. I loved Marble Canyon.
